Georgia’s Voice is not a 24/7 service so if you find your self in crisis please find some emergency helplines below that may be able to help.

NHS CORNWALL HELPLINE

In a crisis, or know someone in crisis? Need someone to talk to? The helpline is open 24/7 to listen and determine how best to help.

Samaritans

Whatever you’re going through, a Samaritan will face it with you. They’re open 24/7. If you need someone to talk to, they listen and won’t judge or tell you what to do.

Shout 85258

Shout 85258 is a free, confidential, anonymous text support service. You can text from wherever you are in the UK. If you are struggling to cope and need to talk, trained Shout Volunteers are there for you, day or night.

Hopeline 247

If you are having thoughts of suicide or are concerned for a young person who might be you can contact HOPELINE247 for confidential support and practical advice.

Childline

If you’re under 19, you can contact Childline about anything. Whatever your worry, it’s better out than in. They’re here to support you and theres lots of different ways to speak to a Childline counsellor or get support from other young people.

SANEline services

If you are over 16, get specialist emotional support, guidance and information – they’re normally open every day of the year from 4pm to 10pm.

Calm

If you’re struggling, you can talk to CALM. Chats are free, confidential and anonymous – helpline open 5pm–midnight, 365 days a year.
