We are pleased to announce that our very own Emily Tisshaw won The Inspirational Leader Award on December 1st 2023 at the West Country Women Awards.
Proudly sponsored by The Franchise Consultant, the category is to shine the spotlight on and recognise women that have steered a course through stormy waters – showing they have stepped up to challenges and inspiring others.
Their lead judge Claire Robinson had this to say about their winner Emily:
It wasn’t an easy task reading through over 70 applications for the Inspirational Leader award but Emily’s application stood out head and shoulders above the other applicants.
Emily has been through so much for someone so young. She gives back so much to others from her own experiences, working with two different charities both close to her heart, training to be a counsellor to enhance her skills to help others. She’s an author, writing books on her experience with alcohol and addiction and her own story of being born with a missing limb.
Emily is a true inspiration to others and I was delighted to announce her the winner.
